During 2020, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has been very active in enforcing the employer’s responsibility to protect employees by providing appropriate respiratory protections and to provide a place of employment that is free from recognized hazards. This session will discuss these OSHA requirements and discuss most frequently cited OSHA standards. By understanding which workplace hazards have most frequently resulted in OSHA citations, hospitals and other health care entities can better ensure workers are adequately protected.
