Provider Relief Fund Applications Open

As of September 29, hospitals and other health care providers can apply for $25.5 billion in provider relief funds. The package includes $8.5 billion in American Rescue Plan (ARP) resources for those who serve rural patients covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), which AHA anticipates that all members will be eligible for. The package also includes $17 billion for Provider Relief Fund (PRF) Phase 4 for a broad range of providers experiencing changes in operating revenues and expenses.

HRSA will be hosting webinar sessions for Phase 4 and ARP rural applicants, featuring guidance on how to navigate the application portal (click a date and time below to register to attend):

Tuesday, October 5, 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET
Wednesday, October 13, 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET

Providers may apply for both programs with a single application, and applications must be completed and submitted by October 26 at 10:59 p.m. CT.
