The Arkansas Hospital Association has established arkprepare@arkhospitals.org as a dedicated email address for hospital professionals with inquiries regarding the ongoing measles outbreak in the Southern US, which has now been identified in Arkansas.

Arkansas hospitals are actively collaborating to ensure an effective and coordinated response to this outbreak. We urge all Arkansans to proactively protect their health and the well-being of their communities and the healthcare system.

We strongly encourage all healthcare professionals to stay informed on the latest evidence-based guidance provided by the Arkansas Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Arkansas has a strong history of effectively managing public health challenges. Our hospitals are central to the health and resilience of our communities, a responsibility we embrace. We are committed to working together as a united statewide network of support and care to address these cases.

Your hospitals are prepared and here for you.
