Coding Updates
This class will discuss changes to the coding system that will be implemented on October 1, 2026. Changes to ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS will be covered in this full-day, virtual event.
Participants should have their code books available during this event.
Faculty
Karen Scott, MEd, RHIA, CCS-P, CPC, FAHIMA
Karen is the Director of Education and Training at TruCode/TruBridge Encoder and Owner of Karen Scott Seminars and Consulting. She has taught HIM programs for many years at several universities and has also worked as an HIM director in an acute care hospital. She previously served AHIMA as Director on the AHIMA Board of Directors and AHIMA Foundation Board of Directors. Karen has been recognized as a Fellow of the American Health Information Management Association. She teaches seminars throughout the country and has written numerous coding textbooks.
Continuing Education
Those who do not register will not be recognized as attendees and will be not be eligible for continuing education credits.
